Shining Star Reads is now active in partnership with NLB's Project kidsREAD!
Established 2014
Beginning as a non-profit organisation, we were supported by community partners along the way to become a registered charity in 2020. We have been and continue to be 100% volunteer-run, focusing on programmes for children residing in public rental communities in Singapore.
Bringing Love to Every Single Soul (BLESS), is a community-focused Non-Profit Organisation, launched in August 2014 by Ms Low Yen Ling, Mayor of South West District. Having recognised the bountiful potential of social capital, BLESS actively targets the community as a focal point of intervention to support the less privileged in the society. BLESS was registered as a charity under the Charities Act (Chapter 37) since 22 september 2020.
Believing that every community is its own strongest reserve, our focus is on maximising social impact and creating sustainable changes in different pockets of community.
